The Peter A. Hilton House is a historic Colonial farmhouse, built in 1799 by a congressman. It is on the historic registry of homes.

The main house features 5 spacious bedrooms, 3 full baths plus a half bath, mudroom, farmhouse kitchen with wood cook stove and butler’s pantry, dining room, parlor and a full walk up attic. Many of the colonial features have been restored to the home. Wide plank wood floors are throughout, worn by many footsteps from a time when life was simpler. The wagon spokes used to carry the building materials for the house are now used as spindles on the banister.
